About Us

Ambre Energy Limited is an unlisted Australian public company with offices in Brisbane, Australia and Salt Lake City, USA.

The company was formed to develop and apply new technologies to the mining and processing of coal and other carbonaceous materials.

Ambre Energy’s objective is to provide ever cleaner and more efficient sources of energy to the transportation, steel manufacturing and power generation sectors.

To achieve this objective, the company is in the process of commercialising 2 clean coal technologies:

1. a Hybrid Energy System for the low temperature pyrolysis of coal to produce a clean burning solid char product for power plants and steel manufacturers, and synthetic crude oil;
2. gasification of coal to produce a hydrogen-rich syngas for conversion to a next-generation fuel (DME) and clean power.

The company is also developing a number of exciting coal mining projects to provide low-cost feed for its technologies.
