Ambre Update - Edition 7
Welcome to the seventh edition of Ambre Update, a monthly column to provide information and updates on ambreCTL, the proposed coal-to-liquids project near Pittsworth.
ambreCTL is proud to announce that we are opening a new office in Pittsworth in the first week of August.
This is an opportunity for you to find out more about ambreCTL from our new team member (and Pittsworth local), Sarah Wilson, ask questions about our project and our company, or just pop in for a friendly chat.
The office is located at 92 Yandilla Street Pittsworth (usually referred to as the Old Bank Building) and will be open from 9am to 2pm Tuesday to Thursday. We look forward to seeing you!
Also this week, Ambre Energy will be hosting a Future Fuels workshop in partnership with the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology.
Held for the first time in Queensland, the workshop will bring together around 150 stakeholders from government, industry and reasearch organisations (both from Australia and overseas) to discuss the best future fuel options for Australia and create opportunities for cooperative research and development.
Australia relies heavily on imported oil. As a result, our national economy is negatively affected by increasing oil prices. Sustainable and clean alternative fuels are not only important for national energy security, they are becoming a more financially attractive option to oil.
ambreCTL is designed to create a cleaner alternative source of unleaded petrol and LPG for Queensland motorists and an opportunity to bring economic prosperity and skilled jobs to the local economy.
